"We need to quiz your memory, Bryce" Inquirer (dropping the Dartth
Vader act) says in a business like tone that silently said that their questions
will be answered....later if ever!

I've noticed that Inquirer is using a tried but true method that's about
as old as dragonkind itself.
Well, maybe not that old, but this verbal bait and switch game
she can play with these Sneakers is a delight for me to see.
With aid of the blind man known as Whistler, Bishop, Inquirer and the
others are able to puzzle out the likely locale of where Cosmo is located.
The final clue to the puzzle, after a long session of questioning and
prodding, actually came from Ragan.
Apparently, she finally decided to take the plunge and see if this fracas
had followed that part of the movie script or not.
"Mr. Bishop....anything else you heard right after the railroad tracks?"
Ragan says, consulting a map, "We've narrowed it down to two locations....if
there's anything else you can think of that may have happened between the
railroad tracks and where Buddy Wallace knocked you out again after opening
up the car trunk?"
"We drove through....what sounded like a cocktail party." Bishop says
finally, sounding exasperated.
"The Reservoir," Whistler says, snapping his fingers seeing the possible
source within his sharp mind.
"There's a cocktail party at the Reservoir," Crease says doubtfully,
looking down at the map.
"Well, that's what this world's aquatic Earth fowl of that species sound
like," Nyssa says helpfully, drawing odd looks from the Sneakers.
"Aquatic Earth fowl?" Carl echoes, "That's...never mind...."
That sounds almost like what a space vistor would say from one of
those silly scifi shows I watched years ago, the young man thinks to
himself, laughing at the thought.
"Okay, now what?" Bishop finally asks.
He wanted to really ask just how this odd woman had been able to sound
like James Earl Jones' Darth Vader character, but questions of that nature
kept on being verbally parried or....out and out ignored.

I believe
it's now time for our invisible friends to answer that one, I send
out, having pointed out early on while in mental communion with the others
that it would be easier this way......
