nodding in satisfaction upon the other Doctor's departure (and the implied
destruction of these "Masters'" TARDISes). "She deserved better. She saved
my ship and......."
The captain sighs and then turns to matters at hand.
"Now, you wanted a clearer understanding of the universe I just left,"
James T. Kirk (Jim to his friends) begins.

As Kirk winds down, the meeting winds down.
The Enterprise is given the means to get to the Star Fleet HQ where
they can give over the secrets of transwarp drive (which would work despite
the dumping of Omega, which makes warpflight impossible now in that
Star Trek universe). With it, the Enemy would be wiped off the face of
creation in short order....and this damn war finally finished.
Kirk and the others, knowing what they must do, set off and arrive at
HQ, and surprise the bejeebers out of a few people.....
But that's another story.
