That wasn't a smart idea!

Scott, being Scott, impulsively tooks into a mirror, and get more than he
bargains for. Scott's new draconian side, too new to the world, can't face
what it sees and collapses in upon itself, effectively neutralizing itself.
Scott's human side, well nigh familiar enough with the way the Dark Queen
of Krynn (a Dragonlance diety of evil from a very popular fantasy series)
doesn't REALLY give a hoot about Her followers. She just wants one thing in
general, when you get down to it, and that is POWER! She'll do anything to
get it, and doesn't really care one iota about how her minions get hurt.
They are just toys and a means to an end. Scott knows that and isn't too
shocked at the news. Apparently, though, evil chromatic dragons, if he
doesn't miss his guess, thought that She at least had some feeling of love
for them, some kind of bond with them..... Scott almost wants to laugh, but
gets a sense of growing anger.....Scott wants very desperately to GET the
heck out of Dodge because....the Dark Queen seems to be aware of him! Scott
screams and wrenchs his view from the mirror, breaking contact! In the
process of thrashing about, he knocks the magical mirror over, breaking the
wyrm's eye contact with it. The wyrm gives off a heart stopping SCREAM and
rushes off into the cavern Scott just was in, batting Scott accidently
aside (seems the wyrm isn't really aware that Scott is there). Scott picks
himself off the ground and shakes his massive head. He hears the wyrm is
being violently ill in the next room. Scott, curious, goes into the next
room, and sees the wyrm.....ranting and staring at something only he can
see. Scott listens from the shadows. "Nothing. For thousands of years,
serving Takhisis......building up this IDIOT hoard.....killing and
rampaging across Krynn FOR NOTHING?!" the wyrm howls. "I'm just a tool?!
Nothing MORE?! Why? WHY?!! "I remember it all, the death, the glorying in
my victims blood on my claws.....glorying in the buildings shattered by my
lightning." the wyrm continues, staring in horror at the memory. "Now I've
seen it through their eyes....the last momments of life....THE PAIN! OH
GODS!! TAKE IT AWAY PLEASE!! I CAN'T STAND THE MEMORIES OF THE SCREAMS!!!"
Author's Note: Blue Dragons from AD&D have a lightning bolt as a breath
weapon instead of fire). The wyrm suddenly grows queit as his eyes fall
upon...a lone ring on a pedestal. Scott doesn't like the crazy gleam that
comes to the already unstable wyrm's eyes! The ring looks ordinary, but an
alarm is going off in Scott's mind. "YES!" the wyrm shouts, grabbing the
ring. "I wish I didn't remember the victim's. I wish to ammend the evil I
DID! I wish it was different, now!" "SHIT!" Scott shouts as a blinding
pulse goes off from the ring. That ring was a ring of WISHES! A wish was
one of the more powerful magics in any AD&D game because it could alter
reality to almost anything, in a limited extent! However, one had to be
extremely CAREFUL in the wording of the wish because sloppy wishes can get
you something you don't want! Those three wishs of the wyrm
were.....EXTREMELY POORLY WORDED! Go Back
