roughlyspherical black blob that now occupies the area where one of the
stalls previously stood."I know not," Fred replies, "but look!" All around
them, with a series of small poppingsounds,more of the black voids are
coming into existence. "I think we'd better run for it,"says Astra.
They head back towards the passage by which they arrived, trying to dodge betweenthe ever-increasing number of voids.
