"I can't remember my name (or anything else for that matter)," the
woman told Fred,"but I have a strong feeling for some reason that it both
begins and ends in 'a'. So forthe time being I'm going to call myself Angela."
But Fred did not reply, as he hadslumped into a drunken stupor. Angela
sighed. She was tempted to leave him, but this cavesystemlooked like it
might be a dangerous place for a comatose man, and shedidn't want Fred
to come to any harm.

So she waited patiently for him to come round.

Then she thought: "Well, it's his own fault, and I'm not his keeper," and
she left him.
