| Arrangements are made and the dragon lands at the spot where the
hamadryad and her forces await......
Dragon Synizn's eyes grow a bit wider when he spots an elven couple
carrying a wiggling bundle appear out of thin air. The two adult elves'
eyes grow just as wide upon seeing the dragon, but stay their ground as
they see the dragon is carrying passengers. Whatever the case may be, it
appears that the dragon isn't hostile (else why would it he allow others
to ride it)?
The hamadryad Anina is as surprised as the others at the sudden arrival,
but hides it well (a trick she learned early on in her career, a calm and
collect leader helps steady the troops nerves when the chips are down).
"It seems we have guests," she smiles, "Let's get to introducing ourselves
over in the tent and we'll all tell all our stories and get to know each
other, eh?"
As the new analogs shuffle off to the tent that has been set up in a
hastily fortified position, the hamadryad looks over at the recently arrived
elves....who are for some reason starting to head for the tent themselves.
"Uh, when I made that offer I didn't think we need you to tell us the
little one's tale....at least not yet, E'ysha." she chided softly.
"Oh, is that my analog sister's name who's timeline Myrddin tried to
use to save me?" the elfin woman asks oddly, "Ah, but I see, hamadryad,
that we seem to have been confused with your friends. I have a feeling
that.....we elves have a bit of a story to tell ourselves."
"You seem to be taking this displacement rather well," Dragon Synizn
says, bemused.
"Well, when one becomes a Champion for Rules and Agents.....well, odd
situations occur," the male elf says stoically, "That's what the lore we
know tells us about those powerful Beings....."
The dragon mage looks like he wants to ask another question, but his
radio cuts in.
He excuses himself after Probe tells him that his services are required.
The dragon takes off and the elves and the hamadryad watch him leave.
"Mayhaps after we tell our tale you can tell us just when Aqualaria
allied itself with dragons?" the female elf asks Anina. "He was polite
and everything, but still.....I'd like to hear the tale behind that.
The elves and the hamadryad walk to the tent and stories exchanged.....
