Artizza:
Not much disconcerts Trillian, judging by what I've read, but my husband has managed to do it. "Call it a lucky guess," he says with a smile in answer to her unfinished question. With a visible effort, she regains her composure. "You'd better come with me to the bridge, where I'll introduce you to Zaphod Beeblebrox. It's his ship. Well, 'his' in the sense that he has possession of it, anyway. And on my planet we have a saying that 'possession is nine points of the law'. Marvin, please wait here." Trillian leads the party to the bridge. They are thankful to leave behind Marvin's aggrieved muttering of: "Brain the size of a planet, and all she can find for me to do is wait." "Zaphod, we have some visitors from that Vogon ship," Trillian says. "And guess what, they just happen to have brought a cup of tea with them." I'll give Zaphod due credit. He doesn't miss a beat. He swings round the captain's chair so that he is facing us, and gives a nonchalant wave. "Hi, guys," he says from the right-hand of his two heads. "Glad that you could drop by. Hi, Ford. Long time no see." I vaguely recall from the books that Zaphod and Ford know each other of old. Aren't they distantly related, or something?
