Still, she'll be a great boon to us for the next part. Questions like this. Free them? Ride them? Or put them out of their misery?

The spell ensnared gryphons (for that is how they'd been coerced into being mounts for Stryke's hunters) can only listen as these stranger seem to discuss their fates. The fact that the rather short, three foot tall human appearing (but NOT by her smell) woman after finishing explaining something that the gryphons only hear snatches of (they couldn't adjust their ears to point towards the conversationalists to pick it up, magicks again) . . . why she shimmers and takes the form of a crystalline cube. Why these strangers take out another cube and a bear (who's growls are translated for some reason into human speech) is brought forth...

If you're wondering yourself, after the Champions had discussed things with Praxithea, she's thrown in with them to go to Terra Prime. She'd also suggested that perhaps now that was decided, talks with the remaining Dancers would be a good idea (while time allowed).

Anyway, the gryphons, having fatalistically accepted the idea that their lives (such as it was under the yoke) had been over with the defeat of their rides, await! So imagine the shock they all have when they suddenly feel the magical bonds ensnaring their bodies to slavery . . . suddenly snap!

Such things just aren't DONE in this world, you know!

"You're free to go," the elf (with pitch black eyes) says softly.

1. Of course, that doesn't happen immediately. The gryphons are too shocked at this turn of events. Some even want to speak with their unexpected benefactors, if only to understand why this turn of events....
