Any more questions like that are interrupted rather rudely by what happens next to these Amazons going to the shadow town called Walants when.... When Moreau, the long time associate (but not sister in all but blood) of Minestus, and her human cronies make the scene and waylay the rangers via magic (the dragoness').

They're looking for information about the recent death of Minestus and by last word she'd gotten from the vile wyrm there had been this business about him having "fun" with an Amazonian princess. Fun with that artifact that she'd conveted and hoped to get her claws upon, somehow. Fun with the Crystallic!

The associate was dead and his toy gone missing, and she wanted it! Maybe this little toy the dragon had mentioned might hold clues at it's wereabouts? And since the little demifox (or whatever) had gone missing and these rangers were looking for Princess Astra (something her spies had whispered back to her), then perhaps she'd be able to get a leg up on her competition!

  1. So! The rangers fight, but the survivers get captured, anyway.....to be interrogated out here well away from prying human eyes!
