And so Fred ingests the magical substance Belboz has given him, and for some (like mute Astra) notice that the strange blonde/buttermilk colored haired elf named Jenny looks like she's on the verge of protesting but fails to do so. Instead of protesting, the elf known as Jenny (neigh Jenny Elf soon upon coming to live upon Terra Prime, shucking aside the Xanthian last name convention for something more....local) instead turns her attention upon the still wounded Checkers, asking instead if she'd like to be healed of her wounds. Before Belboz can protest (or swell up in indignation at some kind of faulty human perception of insult), Jenny protests that it was only fair. After all, the materials and time spent alone on his one patient (the human known as Fred) spoke volumes. Checkers was of an exotic race, so of course Belboz would (she is guessing) have to dig deeper into his stocks for more exotic/rare spell ingrediants to make the same spell work upon Checkers. Belboz still looks unsure of that, but keeps quiet. Rather, he's putting aside ego for the moment to see just how this annoying elf casts magic yet again to get a better....feel for this opponent. One spell observed alone (and unexpected at that) doesn't do enough to gauge a mage. ...and...
