"Before we go farther," Manbear Synizn speaks. "I see by some faces
that some would like to know what we need to do next....in light of what
Malachi just told us."
"I've worked with her....er....her analog.... for centuries and know
very well what she what she wants us to do," smiles Sigin. "Proceed in
going out with our previously discussed plans.....but somehow be ready
to drop everything at a momments notice. Malachi, I know from experience
with her way of doing things and talking....means we'd have an hour from
the time that gravity start to act up to when it's too late to do anything.....
Ideas how we can do that, getting together swiftly? Realistically?"
"The Crystallic....this Crystallic," Dragon Synizn corrected himself,
mommentarily looking nonpulsed at his gaff. "Has a 'record' of everyone
it transported....so IT can reach out from where ever each is and just
drag us all together to Atlantis at a second's notice. And if that gravity
DOES go wonky....everyone prepare for transporting because I don't
feel like having the world end around me!"
Murmurs of approval greet that statment.
For safety, each and every last "customer" Dragon Synizn's Crystallic
is magically "scanned" by the other Crystallic (in case one is somehow
not available) and then each Crystallic is scanned by the other (that makes
the little figurine scanned turn a pink color for a second....like somehow....it's
disturbed at being scanned by it's brother). So in case one of the Crystallics
are stolen by a mage.....the other two users of the Crystallics could come
swooping in....and fry the SOB who messes with them!
Finally, there is ONE item that Alicia INSISTS on being taken care of.
"After all....it's should be possible to do that by long distance,"
the womanfox smiles, tail swishing. "And....my father NEEDS the help so
badly!"
**************************************
A tired looking Natthias throttles down the murderous desire to beat
the thief who had been in the process of robbing a poor man of his hard
earned money. Instead, he turned him over to what passed for the Constable
around here.
"Master Rift might not be the kindest of men, but he at least had something
of a conscious and a sense of justice in this cruddy town!" the barristers
dwarven assistant murmured as the guards (the ten who were left alive from
the coming of the Phage) dragged off the prisoner.
A sudden *RUSH* is all that Natthias can feel or sense for a
few seconds, and then the paladin smiles.
"Wha...you glowed there for a second!" the dwarf sputtered, amazed.
"Was that one of your holy tricks or something?"
"Or something." Natthias smiled....finally freed of the beast within
him.

And so....the adventurer
go about the business of....what they had planned on doing!
