Spock Detects an Apparent Problem in Logic

Spock arranges a meeting with Uhura and our group to discuss how we might find the "real" Uhura. When we are all assembled he runs through all the facts as he sees them:

"Some powerful 'wizard', identity unknown, transformed Frederigo D'Honaire into the image of Uhura, and somehow managed to access the real Uhura's memories and copy them into the new Uhura's mind. The new Uhura suddenly found herself walking onto the bridge of the Enterprise. [18191] The real Uhura can't have been removed from the Enterprise more than a few hours before this, or she would have been missed. It seems reasonable to assume that the wizard would have abducted her shortly beforehand to get access to her memories so he could transplant them into the new Uhura. As to his motive for doing all this, we have no data."

"So that would mean that the real Uhura is now on my home world?" Uhura asks.

"Possibly, but not necessarily. She could have been sent elsewhere. But there's one big problem with all of this. We know that your matter is not from this universe. We also know that you didn't arrive here till well after the planetary trip when all the Enterprise's women became pregnant - six weeks after, to be precise. [18221 - option 4] I can only assume that the duplication of Uhura was so thorough that her six-week old embryo was also duplicated."

1. "But what about the alien 'possession' of that embryo?" I ask. "How did that happen to the 'new' Uhura?"
