"Here's her chamber," Exotica says, clearly wanting to be away well before all hell broke loose. Wonder what my father has on Blondin to have been able to threaten him so, part of her wonders, knowing that the mage was powerful enough that normally even the king is careful not to push too far (sure means to becoming a toad if not careful). "Wait," Andrea says, holding up a hand to stop Exotica from proceeding any farther. The princess looks down at her in askance, only to then hear a "beep" on the emitter as Jarlath reaches in and touches a button upon it. "We want to rescue her," Andrea explains, "Not put her besides herself....which is what you'd have done as a bloody, ghastly ghost." Exotica blinks. She, in her rush, had actually forgotten! Quickly, they open the door, and a surprised Queen is looking up from her study..... "Mother, we've come to rescue you!" Exotica hurriedly explains. Go Back |
