| The male elf responds to Dr Vincent's question: "I'm the Doctor - or
perhaps I should say I'm a Doctor, given the number of analogs that
I seem to have. And just coming out of the TARDIS now are my friends Romana
and K-9. And you would be?"
Dr Vincent takes the existence of an elfin Doctor in his stride. Compared with some of the things he has seen, that isn't particularly strange. What does particularly fascinate him, though, is K-9. He will have to find out more about this creature later. "I'm Dr Vincent, scientist and mage," he replies. "Pleased to make your acquaintance," the Doctor says, shaking Dr Vincent's hand vigorously. This seems to Dr Vincent a very un-elflike thing to do, but old habits die hard with the Doctor. The Doctor continues: "We're here because we've very recently run across someone who we recognised to be a Frederigo D'Honaire, having previously met one of the clan. This one, though, seems to be touched by some strange sort of fast-developing Unseelie curse. We rendered him unconscious, and brought him to Terra Prime, as being the most likely place to find help."
Meanwhile, Jarlath's party are getting increasingly puzzled and frustrated as they search the relevant region of the alien world where, according to the Book's log, the Fred whom they are seeking should be found. Go Back |
