Anyway, they'd lent a hand to their brother of another universe
already, and now were taking a well deserved break back home......as it
were.....
Now, the Unseelie curse....and all this....
Well, the best way to explain all this is to start from the beginning
and do it right. This tale is something of a fairy tale.....but of a different
sort. Not something that Walt Disney would approve of at all, I'm sure.
Once upon a time.... Our tale opens upon three young, special ladies who are the best
of friends. There was a flamed haired warrior lass who was named Astra
Thessamer (calling herself Astra 9 to differentiate herself from her lovely
sisters and who called a young mage a friend....but the others knew was
something more). There was an exotically beautiful, dark skinned, and buxom
Oriental woman named Joan D'Honaire (who'd renamed herself thus to show
her....er....new self and to differentiate herself from her brothers....in
conversation, nobody would mistake her for them by sight)! Finally, there
was the demifox woman mage named Andrea 2 (who'd used to be human and named
Andrea Croix before the need of her transformation, meeting her
"analogous" sister, and her father disowning her due to her new status).
A bit bored with business and knowing that a young elven girl named Ti'mma
would soon be facing a rather trying task with aiding some fellow elfin
children with reemerging memories of other lives, they all went on a lark
by horseback for a bit of excitement. While hardly a paradise, Terra Prime
had become much more.....peaceful and stable than it had been even before
the coming of the Human/Enemy war to her shores.
Not really expecting much in the way of adventure, that was what they
got and much more in the bargain. Once there, they'd join up with Ti'mma
and Jarlath D'Honaire (a young man with an ironic name given his history
and who and who called a young warrior woman a friend....but the others
knew was something more), a naked blonde woman named Annafrid (with a memory
problem like the such as two sets of memories of two people, one named
Fred and one named Hannah), and an emergency brought about by an act of
mercy to a rather arrogant elf named Rayek (who'd been the cause of a lot
of grief....and let us leave it at that).
The lives of the mercy givers were in danger and the only way to save
them (and Rayek) was through a spell who's ingredients called for an extinct
herb. That is, extinct on Terra Prime. The dyes and paints (which had been
part of the ritual semantics needed by an evil wizard to banish her, unbeknownst
to her and others) used on Annafrid contained the extinct herb....and had
left a mystical trail back to the very reality she'd been magically expelled
from. The only way to save the children (and Rayek) would be to send a
group to the very world that Annafrid had left.
By needs they needed Annafrid to come along to be able to go and return
home once their mision was accomplished. Astra, Jarlath, Joan, and Ti'mma
(who'd was a child with the soul of a much older and wiser elfin woman
that what appearances would lead one to believe) also went and what an
adventure they had on that world.....
They met and befriended a blue fairy woman who'd met Annafrid earlier
(a interesting story in and of itself.....some of which even the fairy
woman wasn't aware of).
They met and slew the very Dragon (a mere animalistic shadow of it's
Terran counterpart) of the Southern Caverns of that world that Annafrid's
Fred
memories in the course of things (and royally ticked off the dragon's owner....the
one who'd Annafrid had been.....created to destroy before she'd fallen
to a trap, stripped permanently of her old body, given the buxom but non-magical
body she now wore, and then sent to Terra Prime).
In the course of things Annafrid was given the gift of immortality and
unaging by that blue fairy woman, and thus making for an interesting situation...
In the course of things she had fallen for Jarlath (and vice versa). This could have caused major rift between them and Astra, if not for Ti'mma. Using her powers of her mind, she let them see the actual emotions all felt for each other..... Er....the elfin girl had meant to smooth things over.....not cause the threesome all to fall deeply, permanently, and hopelessly in love with each other. A love that would eventually lead to a three way marriage.....but that's for later..... They soon find out that neither memories of prior lives that Annafrid
have are valid.
They soon encounter repeated attempts on their lives.....
They soon come to the nearest source of the herbs they need....which
fate would have it as the very mage that had banished Annafrid in the first
place.....
The dragon master was posing as a harmless senile mage at a retirement
home, and was shocked to learn that the questers were only in search for
magical ingredients....and not his head! Would have worked out for him
and Jarlath's group wouldn't have been the wiser....if Ti'mma hadn't caught
onto the mage.....
The mage revealed, a magical battle broke out. Jarlath's group won and
the evil mage was transformed by a magical backlash into a female ogress
(devoid prior memory and human intelligence)....and deposited on Terra
Prime by a mischivious Agent....where she's now a very.....er.....fertile
member of the tribe there......
Arriving back on Terra Prime, the elfin children (and Rayek) were safe (after a side adventure with one Jenny Elf and her quest to find her family)..... There then was a marriage! A marriage of Jarlath, Annafrid, and
Astra....and a few more....
There party is joined by Queen Astra (who performed the wedding ceremony)
and a few couples of her group. In addition to Jarlath and his loves, one
elven couple, one Roland the Gunslinger and Susan Delgrado, and one Eddie
and Susannah were joined in a massive marriage ceremony.....
After the wedding night and Queen Astra's group had left on their assigned
Task of reaching the Dark Tower......belated wedding gifts were given.
