"Damn strange time to take a nap," he mutters, not convinced at
all that was what happened but at a loss for a better explanation for now....
He's only taken more than a dozen hurried steps towards the far hills
when he hears behind him....
SWOOSH!
Unseelie Fred looks up and blinks in surprise (and then some) when he
sees the largest dragon he's ever seen in his life take flight up into
the leaden skies (Dragonslayer though he is, he's never encountered a wyrm
before) AND he sees with his increasingly sharp eyes....those who are riding
on thegreat creatures broad back!
"What in the name of God is Jarlath and the others doing here?" he cries
happily, glad beyond words at familiar faces!
He then pauses as the memory of that woman who looked like the
Astra he'd known....but had an air of evil to her....and has to wonder
if the ones he sees up there is actually people he wants to meet!<P.
Then again, there isn't time enough to seeking over hiding since the
nearest possible spots have tell tale signs of inhabitation (gryphon nests
if he's not mistaken....and the parents wouldn't like uninvited guests).
The dragon loops back and lands with a loud thud and he and his
passengers look down at the nervous Unseelie Fred.
"See, I told you I sensed him over this way nearby!" a male pixie says,
sitting on the should of what appears to be the Joan from the Red Pyramid.
After fighting down a irrational urge to growl at the Seelie fairy,
Unseelie Fred soon finds out that that though these are not exactly the
people who'd he'd met before....they'd come to rescue him and restore him
and the others!
"We already have been able to track down Thessamar ix'latl," Andrea
says, smiling a bit as Unseelie Fred's lights up at that news.
"And you'll be able to meet her again....as soon as our earlier selves
get around to getting her to Nantucket," Jarlath says absently, looking
down at his timepiece and remembering the ride in the TARDIS they'd just
done a bit ago.
-
"Huh?" Unseelie
Fred asks, perplexed.
