| "Well, this settles that question!" Alicia mutters, looking through
the spyglass the Fred had handed her. "We aren't plague carriers. The plague
seems to be well on its way . . . . if not over and done with!"
Fred keeps a blank face through this whole bit. He, Loam, and Alicia
knew darn well that they weren't plague carriers! A discussion with Carradene
had revealed what the mage had seen in the world beyond. However, that
couldn't be revealed to the general population of werefolks . . . . . it
would have raised too many awkward questions. So, the werefolks had sailed
to the pirate base (nobody was very concerned about the pirate's health),
and they had found what they had found.
"Hey, I think I see somebody moving out there!" Alicia says. "It looks
like a few humans. They don't look like they are in the best of shape,
though."
Fred and the others, curious as what is up, go to investigate.....
