| Now, this has had several unexpected consequences.
See, in THIS reality, Dr. Vincent is also....eccentric. However, he's also a bit....paranoid. And the man who's using his magical equipment and scrolls....just found out HOW paranoid. This is what happened. The teleportation device not only can bring in outsiders who play with their reflections....not only can it grab said outsiders at fifty paces from said reflecting wall.....it can also bring any spies who are looking in on the outsiders (by magic...or Dr. Vincent's favorite: SCIENCE). All the better for the good doctor to examine, dearie. And even those of....the non-living (i.e. construct) are unconscious UNTIL Dr. Vincent decides otehrwise....the better to examine you....my dearie! Since ONE of those "spies" was a dragoness who's curious about her new love in her life.....she blacks out....BUT....her transporting only goes to the BORDER of Ethiopia. The Tower shudders, shakes, and twists into the nether of the otherworldy for a second, and shudders back into reality....at the border of.....Ethiopia. An aghast, living Dr. Vincent looks at the grinning, ghostly Dr. Vincent. The two purple toaster headed gorilas are shivering and holding each other in fright at the loud noises. "I just wanted to say hello to old friends, not move your blasted tower," Dr. Vincent the living says to Dr. Vincent the dead. "Maybe even give some belated wedding presents?" He stops when he sees that his audience is....smiling. This doesn't warm the old man's heart. "And now for a possible release from being....living impaired.....and into the what passes for heaven or hell." Dead Vincent chuckles madly, bringing a shiver to his living counterpart. "All I need are a few more things...a few more facts to finish what I started! That damn dragon....." The ghost smiles, and then heads downstairs, floating through the smoking ruins of the transporation device.....and looks into a magic mirror Several dragons and dragonesses....along with coffin sized metal boxes (one with it's electronic guts--with Inquirer written on it's side-- hanging out and some....reptilian humanoids hanging all over it...the other with Probe on it's side).....a few humans (some turning black and putrid as we speak...one with a gem in her forhead...or is she human?).....and various....others....are asleep below.....
