| During the mad dash to get things together to defend it against vulpine
thieves, a skinny man comes dashing up with some big news!
"Captain, I found out what disturbed the last dig sight!" the man says nervously. "I came across. . . . . the corpse of a werewolf! It' looks like it's head got bashed in, with this!" The man holds up the silver coin studded club that Fred finished off Silver with. As the other pirates mutter nervously about the rumors of this island being cursed and that they shouldn't have come, somebody spots Alicia and Fred. The man sized foxes grin at the pirates, and look at them curiously. Several playful yips can be heard around the suddenly nervous men. "Form a circle, take the silver coins, and make some clubs with the branches." the Captain says with a suddenly dry mouth. "Don't try to . . . NO DON'T . . .!" The thin man, already spooked, tries to rush past the foxes and bash them out of the way. A vixen is given a glancing blow, and the fox pack growls and leap on the man, biting and clawing him in dozens of places. Then, after the man is covered in bite and claw marks and is bleeding from dozen of injuries, the back off and just watch the man fall to the ground and groan and shake. The man's body warps, and sprouts redish fur all over his body. It turns into a fox, but then goes further and turns into an even larger fox, that's foaming at the mouth! Turning hate filled eyes on his former comrades, and then at the foxes that are growling back at it, the new Forsaken runs off for safer climes. "The next idiot that tries to run past those foxes will feel my steel." the Captain vows. "They won't attack if we don't make them nervous." "At least, I hope so." the captain whispers to himself. After a long, sleepless night, the children of the Moon find themselves with unexpected guests, pirates.
