A Matter of Capital Importance

On a lighter note, should Dragon and Dragonslayer be capitalized or not? I have been spectacularly inconsistant on this score.

I was wondering that as well! I think it doesn't need to be capitalized. Perhaps someone should consult the Mystic Llama?

I always treated it this way: if the Dragon and Dragonslayer was a proper noun then I would capitalize. example: Fred the Dragonslayer went to slay the Dragon, his greatest foe.

if these words were simply nouns, then no capital: there was a dragon in the caves, but there was also a dragonslayer on his way.
