Velus: What breed?

I always imagined Velus to be a large pomeranian but if others have said he looks different, I'd like to know.

The description never specifies, but he cannot be too large, or else he could not navigate the tight tunnels as he does in some episodes. For no particular reason, I imagine him as a Yorkie.

Velus is first introduced in an option to episode 3, where he is described as "a tiny dog".
