Do you think, once he turns human and gets five or six years on him, Velus has a chance with Astra?

I'm not so sure. He seems too changed by his times in the caves to ever be content with sitting around a royal court and dispensing advice to peasents.

I'm not sure if Velus ever was truly interesting in Astra. He enjoys her body, of course, but I doubt he ever actually considered a real relationship with her.

I think that, as a legacy of his time as a dog, Fred and Astra still have a tendency to regard him as a pet and not take him altogether seriously.

Indeed, Astra is Fred's. Although a VelusxAstra storyline would be quite original and perhaps a welcome change. However it would have to be after he's returned to human... beastiality... not good.

I think that somewhere there's such a storyline.

Actually, I've been here for a while. Just not in the forums.

Most of my episode's are posted anonymously, but I've started putting some in with the name 'El' MooCow' now.

Then again, there is an age gap. If Velus is 17, 18, or 19, or maybe even late 16, I think it shouldn't be that much of an issue, but younger than that and it starts getting a bit icky.

I would think that Velus is about 17, though I don't think that an exact age has ever been mentioned. In most threads, Astra is probably in her early twenties, but in some she's in her late teens.
