I beleave this episode has no structural point....and honestly the creater didn't get the obvious monty python joke option ^^
Anyway...the episode needs to have some kind of story....or deleted because one sentence in all caps just kinda screws up the story.

The silliness monitor sounds to me like a Python reference - to the military officer who used to interrupt sketches saying that they were too silly. And since the option said: "And now for something completely different" I think that an interruption or abandonment of the story in progress is allowable. The story can of course be continued from any one of the other three options.
