I used to wonder about the genre-busting weirdness of a typical Scott and Josh addventure. How it could be mega-serious one moment that absolutely-off-the-wall ridiculous the next.
Then I watch a typical Metal Gear Solid storyline clip [1] on Youtube and I think 'Us weirdos are all right'.
[1] The start of Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain goes from 'Oh shit, oh no, oh shit, hide, hide, hide' to 'I think the Inhumans and Avengers are fighting again'.
