NEQ's Ten Year Anniversary

Post by Cicero »

February 9th this year! Anyone got any ideas how to celebrate? Who's bringing the prawn yoghurt? I know I've only been here a year or so but people have only thus far casually mentioned the landmark in previous topics and I'm getting excited. That's 3,650 (circa) days of storytelling! Surely someone can think of something?

JH, if NEQ was born at 9:45am, what's the GMT equivalent? I need to know when I have to get the didgeridoo out.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to hire a tall beautiful redhead to follow me around all day, naked.

Wouldn't it be 3:45 PM GMT?

I'm impressed that this site's been around for ten years, to be honest.

It also should be noted that they're still working on opening Game 4 at Addventure.com, which they promised would be open in 1999.

If the NEQ server was running on PST at the time, then I think that's 8 hours behind GMT, which woulf make it 5:45pm GMT. My oem 10th anniversary will be a couple of days later, as NEQ had been running about 2 days before I found out about it. I think Lots has been here since Day 1, though.

I arrived that September. We were on vacation in california when I found out about it. I was very young.

Remember how cool the first Matrix was? Especially if you went into the theaters having no clue what was in store. All I had heard was that the Matrix was good so I figured "what the hell?"

Sorry, got off on a tangent there.

I don't need an excuse to hire a naked redhead. And yes, I've been here from the beginning. Heck, I was here since Addventure Game 2.

I've invented so many characters, helped develop so many more.
