Sabotage

I hope that no-one who reads this board was responsible for sabotaging 14773 with 28405. (As usually happens in such cases, the saboteur didn't include an email address.)

The guidelines at
http://www.sir-toby.com/extend-a-story/ ... lines.html
say: "Respect the Work of Others - This is a collaborative story. Some authors have devoted a whole lot of time contributing to the story. Don't try to sabotage other authors' work. Respect the plots that others have written. If you want to add on to their storyline, by all means do so, just be sure you take the time to understand the history of the storyline you are adding onto."

As one of the two Moderators, along with Sir Toby, I'm deleting 28405. Sabotage is never acceptable. If you have a problem with an episode, then raise it with the author on the board, and maybe he or she will edit it. Or if it's porn or copyright violation, then email me or Sir Toby about it, and one of us can deal with it.

I suppose people will want to know what the offending episode said, so they can see if they agree with my judgement. It was as follows:
That's when the narrator intervened. "Who here is tired of long, wandering passages that only have one choice at the end?"

'"WE ARE!" they cried.
The only option was: "Let's go then." It was backlinked to episode 2.

The reference to "only one choice at the end" suggests that the poster hadn't noticed that Knight Random had enabled Add New Option for his episode, or else didn't understand what it signified.

JH, Thanks for removing the episode. Why don't some people comment on the message board? That's what it's there for! Maybe now, JH, you can get off your butt and actually write some episodes. :)

The saboteur has reinstated their sabotage. :( The speed with which they've done it suggests that they are probably reading this board and were tipped off by my messages.

Oh, now, that's just obnoxious... Here's hoping whoever it is, they finally get the message.

I enjoyed the heck out of the episode, by the way, Knight Random!
