For those not familiar with American football, the Al Davis mentioned in option 2 is the owner of the Raiders, a club that is hated by the fans of both teams mentioned in Ib's 34352. This would give both Astra and Checkers a 'common enemy' to talk about.

I'm truly impressed, Anableps! Al Davis is indeed a hellspawn from the bottomless depths of the nethervoid of the shadow walkers. And the Raiders and all their fans are a bunch of lawless hooligans. Those four words in option 2 are pure brilliance.
