Extend-A-Story Version 2.2.2 Released

I recently released version 2.2.2 of Extend-A-Story on GitHub:

This version uses the SHA2() MySQL function instead of PASSWORD(). MySQL version 8 does not include the PASSWORD() function.

This version also removes a call to the get_magic_quotes_gpc() PHP function which is no longer included in recent versions of PHP.

Upgrading to this version requires manually resetting the passwords for all of your Extend-A-Story users. There is no need to upgrade unless you are affected by the above issues.

The NEQ had become rather slow in the last year or two as the number of episodes increased. I noticed recently, though, that it seemed to have speeded up a bit. I'm guessing that the new version of the software is probably the reason.
