Spammer alert

It looks like someone is spamming the Never Ending Quest forum.

Thanks for the "heads up". I'm away on vacation at present, and only have very limited Internet access, so spam may not be deleted quite as promptly as usual.

Meanwhile it's good to see that there's been a recent flurry of activity on the NEQ.

Having just deleted some more spam, I wonder why spammers are so fixated on Nike and Adidas and why they post in a variety of languages. I suppose they must be the victims of some piece of malware; it must be something quite sophisticated as it can manage to set up an account here. Since it seems highly unlikely that Nike and Adidas condone the spam, it's hard to see what the point is.
