I like the episode a lot, but I have one big problem with it. Fred's been dead ever since episode 40, so it's a little late to be discussing immortality.

One minor thing regarding paragraph 4. Fred has already been told that Satan has taken over Purgatory, a few episodes back. So he knows that Purgatory is no longer a subsidiary of the firm that operates Heaven.

Agreed. If Fred had gone to Hell, or even Purgatory, he would have a large incentive to ask for immortality. There is not much incentive when he already has been guaranteed heaven. Or has he...?
