In the aforementioned thread, I don't think you two have specified how 'Belboz' (or his illusionary image) scared away or distracted the dragon in the barrel room. He would have at least had to put on a show for Checker's sake.

It was covered in 24336. You may have missed it, because the story had split into two branches at that point which later rejoined.
