just a thought

Do you think there are any published authors out there who read NEQ to get random ideas, and then rip off whatever they find and incorporate it in their books?

That's not to suggest that anyone here is not a published author. Hey, that's an interesting idea for a poll. Has anyone here ever gotten anything published? I havent, for sure.

Nor me.

I rather doubt that any well-known authors are reading NEQ.

It would be nice to know who else out there was reading what we do here, famous or not.

To answer the second question, back in the days when I used to (more or less) finish my own stories, I got a handful of them printed in some Norwegian fanzines you are unlikely to have heard of unless you happen to be a Scandinavian sf-fan from that period. Some of them can be found (and read if you understand Norwegian) at skribenten.tripod.com
Nothing professionally published or paid for. Well, once I sent a Basic progam I had written, to a computer magazine along with some comments, they paid me for it but never used it. Go figure. :?
