Have you run into anyone you think deserves to be banned?

Just out of curiousity, has anyone ever been banned?

Post by Noise Tank »

I've noticed some spam and trolls here, but I've never seen sir-toby put his foot down and ban him from both the story and the boards. Has he ever banned anyone from either?

Unless adding to the story was to be made members-only, which I imagine would require a change to the software, then I don't think that banning someone from writing episodes is possible.

Posting to the board has in the last few days been made members only, because of the amount of spam that has had to be deleted recently. So somebody could have their membership of the board revoked if they caused trouble.

This statement is no longer true. I have now banned all email addresses from mail.ru from registering on the bulletin board, due to the large proportion of spam users coming from that domain.

And a second time...

I just banned a bunch more domains that were spamming the heck out of us.
