Problems Sending Email to AOL

Post by Sir Toby »

I just found a couple of bounce notifications for messages that Extend-A-Story tried to send to Lots42 on June 25th. AOL was complaining that either my IP is an open relay, or that it is a dynamic IP address. Neither condition is true. I have just tried to reproduce the problem by sending a test email to someone I know on the AOL service, and things seem to be working properly now.

Lots42, can you confirm if you have received any email from Extend-A-Story since June 25th?

I've gotten about twelve notifications since June 25, saying episodes of mine were continued. Here's one of 'em

This email was automatically generated and sent because at some

and asked to be notified when someone expanded your storyline.

Ah, good. It just must have just been a temporary problem then.
