Nomic is a game in which changing the rules of the game is a valid move. I don't have lots of time to describe it in great detail right now. There is a web site with much more details:

Scheduled for next version...
I just did a check of the phpBB feature requests database. Such a feature has already been requested, and it is scheduled for inclusion in the next release of phpBB.

Re: Noise Tank and Registration
Maybe he just forgot to respond to the confirmation email? That happened to me at first, I think. It actually bounced. I have the bulletin board configured so that all email it sends is sent from my account. Whenever someone tries to register using an invalid email address, I receive the bounce not...

(unless Sir Toby does them) I'm afraid that won't be happening any time soon. Tomorrow I have another round of my moving experience. I'm pretty busy preparing for that, as well as dealing with items related to the sale of my house. This portion of the move process does not involve the Sir-Toby.Com ...

Noise Tank and Registration
You aren't a registered user, because - as Sir Toby told you at the time - the email address that you provided when you attempted to register wasn't valid. Quite true. Noise Tank, you've tried to register twice. Both times you used invalid email addresses. If you register again using a valid email ...

Re: Poll: Best Character
Let's see if we can set up the poll taking advantage of the facilities of the board. I don't know if I only see this because I'm a Moderator, but if starting a new topic, I get some options at the bottom of the window that I can fill in to create a poll. I believe that any registered user should be...

Checking up on this...
Just browsing the unanswered posts and found this topic. I just reviewed the episodes in question, and they look like they have been corrected. Have all of the problems in the episodes been taken care of?

Not that I know of...
I'm not aware of such a feature. It does seem like a useful feature though. I'll suggest it to the phpBB development team.

My First Episode
Well, that's an easy one for me.
Welcome to Sir-Toby's Extend-A-Story
Although... Some may not consider it an actual episode. There's always this one:

I seem to remember that someone else complained of a similiar problem a while ago. I don't remember who complained, or where the original complaint is. I think that was me, when we were testing the beta story. But then, too, it wasn't reproducible. I don't think the options disappeared that time, j...

Episode Number?
Do you know the episode number? This feature gets used all the time by you and everyone else with no problems. Perhaps there was something unique about the episode you were working with? If you give me the episode number, I'll try to reproduce the bug in the beta test story by entering in the origin...

I don't know, and I don't think there's any way of finding out other than by examining every single episode. One of the perks of being the administrator of The Never Ending Quest is that I have access to the raw SQL dump of the NEQ database. That means I can slap the NEQ database into a tool that f...

Best and Worst Episode
Well, I think that my depiction of the Extend-A-Story Wardrobe came off fairly well. On the other end of the spectrum, I'm also responsible for The In-Between Storyline Realm. While that episode isn't terrible, I went on to excessively link to it with the use of The Red Door.

New Advanced Features
There are no immediate plans for new features for Extend-A-Story. If anyone has any suggestions, I am generally open to adding new features as time permits. Extend-A-Story is also open source, so someone could submit a patch for a new feature that I can integrate into Extend-A-Story.
