1216 and its successors
It looks like someone is using elements from Celtic mythology. The keening of 27981 may refer to 'the wailing of the banshee', but I am not sure. If Ross is a new author, then I hope that he (or she) will continue contributing episodes.

But Fertal lives! (in 28081)
I wrote 27811 to provide for three different possibilities - the pride of both parties leads to a breach, Fertal offers an olive branch, and Jenny tries to use her talents to convey to the four a bit of the Champions' background. I was hoping to give the readers distinct choices to make. I was less ...

Good luck!
KR, good luck with those last few weeks of school. To both you and MSG - if your writing were indifferent, Ib, JH, Y, and myself would not have extended those episodes. I would consider it a compliment that the characters that you developed are compelling enough to have inspired this many interpreta...

Velus
The description never specifies, but he cannot be too large, or else he could not navigate the tight tunnels as he does in some episodes. For no particular reason, I imagine him as a Yorkie.

Concerning episode title
For some reason, I thought that "High and Low" would be a good title for this branch. (Minestus would be both.) Another idea might be "The Good, the Bad, and the Glideri." ---------- KR and JH, I have been holding off to see if MSG is going to extend. He has left hints that Mines...

Religion
I was not offended, and from what I read I do not think that anyone else was either. From what I remember, there was some concern that an episode with Christian themes would prevent use of themes involving alternative or speculative religious systems, but as there are many counter-examples in other ...

I will agree with the Extend-A-Story Wardrobe for Sir Toby's best. That was funny. As for mine. A Close Call was my first episode. For those that like action, this is probably my best one. A Tender Mind Does Not Become a Sword was the one the took the most energy and thought. One has to read it in c...

27339 and 27441
Nice episodes, MSG. In 27339, I would have used option one, but as I saw MSG prompting JH for a reply, I thought that I would leave that option open and created option two and 27441. By the way, I will note that in 27441 Minestus is not omniscient, and has in fact made two false assumptions. He disc...

Thank you for the encouragement and the followup in 26912. I had to break this scene into three parallel episodes, as the interpretation of the events is different, depending on whose point of view you are taking. The reader has to read all the episodes to get the full story as to what is going on. ...

The Shadow War
In 24707, Y writes about Summer and Wil, who seem to be counter-weights to the Little Girl. Are there episodes with a further background on them, or is this the only mention of them?
I think that leaving the Little Girl unnamed adds to the sense of menace that she conveys in the story.

25718 - Not intended to offend
There was a discussion on the religion in the NEQ sometime back. It appeared to me that the consensus was that it varied from polytheistic to vaguely Christian, depending on where and who you were. 25718 touches on these themes. In this episode, although the farmers and the Glider are monotheistic, ...

Link back to parent site
Another feature that would be nice to have would be a link back to the parent site. I know that it is possible to do:
http://texts01.archive.org/dp/phpBB2/index.php shows one site that does this in the "Back to personal pages" link.
I do not know how much coding is involved, though.

Date stamp on authentication notice
The date stamp is off on my authentication notice. The free mail account that I am using shows a date of 3 April 2003. This is not a big deal, but there is the possibility that some would register, look at their mailbox, and not find the notice where they would expect it. Perhaps this is just a prob...
