Thanks for the review. I hope to make the appropriate revisions in the web site sometime in the next week.

I have nothing definite in mind. I wanted to get the main body of Aqualarians on the road to get the action moving, and I think that I did that. Do you think that it would be worth trying to introduce a plausible delay for Astra's party so that the main party of Aqualarians can catch up with the Dun...

91817 - the long delayed continuation

I have found a couple of hours and a little energy, and I hope that I put it to good use. 91817 had been mostly written out some time ago, but I never quite finished it. I then lost my workstation that had the original episode, so I am going by memory as to what I originally wrote.

Today is exactly nine years since I wrote my first episode. I thought that it would be appropriate to use my first character in some way.

Good eye, JH! I always thought Astra would have a bit more flesh on her, but if a paperback book of the NEQ were ever published, I think that is a good candidate for the cover. (And I like the fact that a young artist is drawing on pre-20th Century ideas and is drawing something beautiful., rather t...

I don't know if you can do anything with 73278. This was a one-off on my part. I thought that introduction of "foreign" characters from a comic strip might give someone some ideas. (Maybe someone messed around the the tuning on Nalsra's guitar?) Feel free to route around the episode if it ...

Never Ending Quest: The movie

Episode 92083 and the follow-on episodes have been a good deal of fun. It is interesting to see what actors and actresses the authors see as playing the well-known characters. JH's choices for Astra are interesting. Angelina Jolie has the build, but my image of Astra's complexion was somewhat lighte...

Episode references

86933 might be the best place to start to review Simon's actions at the Battle of the Dragon's Pond. The action spans a number of episodes. There are multiple episodes with visions, but the one where Astra tried to convey the dragon's demise was episode 88754. This vision was communicated only to Vi...

I added an episode to the steingeweser thread. One difficulty that I had with this episode is that there is information that the reader knows about that cannot be known in Themyscria at this point. I read some of the earlier episodes and Astra did not convey a vision as to how the dragon came to an ...

89312 - thoughts

Balischo serves as a sort of point-of-view character. He is not dumb, but some of Gloria's items are going to be oddly described by him, as they are not part of a hunter's life. Here is what I was basing some of the items in this episode on. One possible explanation behind the "heptillion"...

Yes, that would be the case. In the case of creating a directed beam, Gloria would need some way of getting the powder at the focus. The way I would do it is mount a tripod inside the "kettle". There would have to be something in the kettle that would hold the base of the tripod's legs in ...

1. Using the Wikipedia article on parabolic reflectors as a reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parabolic_reflector . I used Google to look for an image for kettle, and I think that I see the point of confusion. You are probably thinking of a tea kettle. I am thinking of a larger open kettle - a...

I enjoyed the twists that JH and Ib added. In the latest episode, I am keeping the point of view as Balischo's, and not explaining everything that is going on. I am trying to give the "magic" some scientific basis, even though I made up the powder. You all can use or change it however it m...

This branch of the story is now over 100 episodes. There are a couple of points further back in the episode that may be of interest. The caves are well-lit to a point. Episode 8 is part of the story, and Fred sneaks past a man that is concentrating on a very bright light. As Fred sneaks past the man...
