Heh heh...my apologies.

I didn't see the answer to my old post on the NEQ board before I posted here. Oh, my face is so red now... :P

I have a suggestion:

How about more backgrounds for the Never Ending Quest to go along with the three original ones we all know so well?

As I said over on the Horsehockey forum, Won-Tolla's passing is very sad news, and he'll be missed. Ib also raises a good point about having close friends or relatives notify the rest of us should one of us die. I personally haven't made any arrangements for this, simply because I'm still in my 30s ...

Yes, that is something that I have no idea how to implement. I need to e-mail Sir Toby about that. As to the second idea, when we implement a better main home page that is absolutely something I think we should do. Okay, good. I wish I knew how to figure out how to program different background sche...

I had a couple of small ideas that we've got to talk about.

Namely, different background schemes other than black text on white or white text on black.

I also think it would be nice to add a thank you to Chris Burch, the guy who first started HH in '99, somewhere on the main page, too.

Yes, it was excessive, but it was intended in the old spirit of Horsehockey where anything could and would happen. One of my main intentions was to attract interest from other addventure sites, which is why Lord Fred is included, as well as the main characters from the Unending BE Addventure. I figu...

Oh, I hope so.

We're only THREE YEARS behind our original launch date of April 1st, 2008 (or was that the gag for April Fools Day?)

If I counted correctly, by adding January's 31 days with February's 28 days and the 13 days in March so far, we've written a grand total of 309 episodes so far in 2011. So, we're pretty close to matching last year's total, and we can probably pass that mark by the end of this month if certain author...

All right...I spent more than a few minutes looking at this site for some background ideas, and here's what I came up with. Obviously we don't have to stick with these choices, as I was looking for combinations that wouldn't be too difficult to read: Cyan text on medium blue background Cyan text on ...

That's what I was thinking...no backgrounds that would be nearly impossible to read, or anything that would instantly give someone a headache. I'm also wondering about the thought of letting the writers selecting their background by selecting two different colors from pulldown menus. This might be a...

Background schemes

As long as I can remember, the Never Ending Quest has just three backgrounds to choose from when you're writing an episode: scroll, white text on black, and black text on white. I also know that the Black Void has six unique schemes: Limbo, Dark, Classic White, Clockwork, Pirate, Road, and Border. T...

I also checked the Internet Archive, even though I never participated at Jack's Sofa. Years ago, I did read through a few story arcs to learn more about some of the main characters being used, but it doesn't look like there was a character guide linked. So either those characters are lost forever, o...

One thing I've always liked about the staircase room is that it also seems to have an infinite number of rooms surrounding it. Extra bedrooms, a kitchen, your choice of big box stores or restaurants, they're all there for Scott and Josh. It's been almost fifteen years since Scott's first appearance ...

Anniversaries

I was reading over the talk page for the Addventure page at Wikipedia, and I saw a response to someone who had posted a comment about using Scott and Josh as two examples of extend-a-story characters, as if they were the dominant characters featured at every addventure site in existance today. Devil...
