Re: Keep Safe!

Me too. I hadn't heard about the wildfires. Hopefully since his server is OK, that means he is too.

I hope all our other addventurers are also OK and Covid-free.

Re: Keep Safe!

Glad to hear you're OK. I'm fine too. As a retired introvert, my life hasn't really changed that much, though I do miss being able to go out to lunch or to visit the cinema.

Re: Keep Safe!

There's no Facebook page. Given that we have this forum, I'm not sure that it would really add anything, though Sir Toby might feel differently. Horsehockey, which uses the EAS software, has a Discord, which you can find the link to on their homepage at http://www.horsehockey.org/ It's not very acti...

Re: Keep Safe!

I'm fine ATM, thanks. It's good to know that you are too.

I'm hoping that, with people likely to have more time on their hands, it might lead to some new addventure episodes appearing.

Re: Season's Greetings

Another year has gone by, and once again it's time to wish everyone a Merry Christmas (or other seasonal festival of your choice) and a Happy New Year. Why not make a New Year's resolution to write a few addventure episodes?

Re: Temporary Absence

I don't like it too hot either. But though it was pretty warm, the humidity was low so it wasn't too bad. It was a bit of a shock to come home to cold and damp and overcast skies, though.

Re: Season's Greetings

Thanks. Rum would go down a treat. :D

Though we don't have Thanksgiving over here, in recent years retailers have started having Black Friday promotions, recognising it as a way to con more money out of people.

Re: Temporary Absence

It was my first visit to Egypt, though I've done a couple of river cruises elsewhere previously. Yes, I did see the pyramids, and they are mighty impressive, as are the assorted temples that I saw and the tombs in the Valley of the Kings.

Re: Temporary Absence

Actually it was a cruise on the River Nile, and it was very nice. :)

I've just noticed that in my original post I mistyped "NEQ" as "NEW", but no doubt you worked out what I meant.

Temporary Absence

I'm going to be away until the 24th. In the unlikely event of any problem with either the NEW or the Black Void, please contact Sir Toby directly.

Re: Back for an Evening

More NEQ episodes from you would be great, Ben.

So what's this book you're working on?

Re: Back for an Evening

As has been pointed out, Brexit is like the Hotel California: "You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave." (Which reminds me that a couple of months ago I actually saw a hotel calling itself the "Hotel California". I don't know if the owner was blissfully unawa...

Re: Back for an Evening

Thanks, we'll need it! Ben is still around, Lots too of course, Anableps and MSG, but it's a shame the number of good writers who we seem to have lost for good. There have been a couple of new writers turn up in recent years, one the anonymous one who has been a major contributor to the Frita story ...
