Thanks. :) The backlinking issue I see as a two edged sword- definitely it makes the backlinking thing a curse and a blessing but I think it's more of a blessing. It lets people cooperatively edit away mistakes or make changes to create a stable continuity if that's how people want to go. Plus you c...

Episode 81809

http://www.sir-toby.com/extend-a-story/story-1/code/read.php?episode=81809 Hi, JH and I seem to be dualing a new thread from the early chapters... I am not going to bother to read up on Astra, I am going to write her from whole cloth and whatever other people write. I imagine people familiar with he...

As far as I can see it isn't doing anything too controversial. I have done up a couple of versions of extend-a-story that allow multimedia functions, just never put them live for a test... It's nice to see the genre still alive and evolving though. :)

Have you got any interest in extending... Extend A Story to make it a similar thing?

SOFA TALES digital comicbook

At the bottom of my blog http://bleachroot.blogspot.com/ There are a pair of buttons- the first is for buying a single issue, the second for a 12 issue subscription to the digital (and print although it is currently ridiculously expensive) comicbook SOFA TALES based on (of course) JACK'S SOFA. Each ...

Thanks! The film based on Jack's Sofa is still being sold overseas as well but the books / comics and series look like they will be more successful. Although the film certainly proved the concept. I just love the idea of the addventure type stuff finally getting some acknowledgement in any way. And ...

JACK'S SOFA novel and (cable) TV series

Hi, we're in early preproduction of a straight to cable / DVD series based on Jack's Sofa (parts of it anyway)! We've also released the first of a planned series of novels based on Jack's Sofa, to be followed by solo adventure books and comicbooks. The first novel is for sale on Lulu.com at the mome...

Hyperspace

Hi to one and all, we started a new set of chapters on Jack's Sofa, this time based on hard sci fi and a ship trapped in Hyperspace. It is the plot of a 3D game we're doing but it is independent of the 3D game, just some fun on the extend-a-story site. It starts right from the first page, currently ...

It interests me to see the social experiment in parallel world building be so civil and cool.

I still think a Sir Fred action figure would be cool. Have to look into that. :)

I know on Jack's Sofa the student posters turn up at this time of year each year since they go on holiday and the adults / workers get their Xmas break and get back into it. :)

You mean he doesn't already? :) Anyway, I reposted it here, so no problem. Also: one thing to keep in mind in the Merlin episodes, is that in Battlefield (a Seventh Doctor episode) it was revealed that in one universe the Doctor IS Merlin, so perhaps Jack is the Doctor too. Perhaps when assumign a ...

Jaxter's on now so I will PM him about that on our forum methinks. :) I imagine it will be nanoseconds before the NEQ thread goes divergent though. For a kickoff we have way too many Dr Who fans so of course he will make an appearance again. And again. And again. :) "Splendid fellows, all of th...

...and now the user Jaxter and a couple others are continuing it! I know Jaxter posted some threads to Sir Toby NEQ under another name so I am guessing maybe he/she wants a vanilla version of NEQ before the Ranma etc. stuff entered into the equation? Christmassive is spawning some interesting stuff ...
