I add: Naturally, being an identical twin, she is identically (un) dressed. Then I put the pen down as the woman in question puts an arm lovingly around me.

I had been tempted to have You killed, but violence doesn't come naturally to me, even through the use of a proxy. And why should I care what he gets up to with Astra if I have a beautiful girl of my own?

I realise that I have forgotten to specify a name for her. It's a bit awkward not knowing what one's beloved is called, so I pick up the pen and paper again in order to do so.

Unfortunately before I can write anything more my love grabs the piece of paper from me. "What's this, darling?" she asks. "Why have you written: Astra has a twin sister, who is here right now and hopelessly in love with me. Naturally, being an identical twin, she is identically (un) dressed. I mean it's rather stating the obvious, isn't it?"

  1. She goes on: "Why not write something a bit more interesting?" Taking me by surprise, she snatches the pen from my hand, as she says: "Something like this, say." Not realising the significance of what she does, she starts to write.
  2. I am spared from having to answer when she says: "I think that I'd better see what Sis is up to." I realise that the sound of giggling from the next room has been replaced by that of heavy breathing.
  3. I am spared from having to answer when Fred draws his sword and says: "I'm going to kill him!" I realise that, of his own volition, he's planning to do what I had considered writing him as doing.
  4. She adds: "What's this earlier bit, in someone else's handwriting?"
