There is a knock on the door, and then two swarthy lads enter, loaded down with bags. One boy produces some large plates - proper porcelain, none of that paper rubbish - which he loads up with delicious- looking sandwiches and other goodies. The other takes out some bottles of fine Italian wine and some glasses.

Everyone tucks in enthusiastically. Well, everyone except Bobo; unfortunately for him the sandwiches are too thick to fit into the toaster slots. There's nothing like providing good food and drink to make people feel kinder towards you, you reflect. You're sure that you've heard the last of that stupid court case.

Of course, there's still the little matter of your revenge on these jumped up characters. You get an idea for that. You will break up Fred and Astra's marriage.

1. "Did you know that Fred was going out with Princess Exotica before he met you?" you casually ask Astra.
2. You ensure that Astra's glass is kept constantly topped up from a bottle of unusually strong red wine. Soon she is flirting tipsily with you, whilst Fred looks on with a face like thunder.
