Fortunately, most of the town is too busy harassing known kind man, Flanders, for stepping on a poisonous bug and you are able to sneak through much of the town unoticed. You also find some laundry and blatantly steal it. You don't feel too bad, as even in your sad sack of a town, it's known of the kindness of Flanders and so what if he stepped on an icky bug.
You are just leaving the town proper, stepping between the library and the Library Censoring Hall when you are spotted by six busybodies.

  1. The busybodies are strong and fit and catch up with you.
  2. The busybodies are old and feeble and you soon outpace them.
  3. For no explainable reason, the busybodies all explode, from left to right. Pfft, pfft, pfft.
  4. You can barely keep ahead of the six busybodies. You also realize you forgot to steal pants.
