I Want To Go Visit

The guard leans closer to me, I feel his disgusting smell which almost makes me throw up. But I have to restrain myself. For her. I can bear a stinky breath.

"Actually, she didn't. You know her well" the guard whispers, his foul-smelling breath tickling my ear.

"There is a new experiment ... but why would I tell about it to you? You are only a slave."

"Please, tell me about her" I say, before I could think better. I made a mistake. Now he knows how important she must be to me. I curse silently.

Meanwhile, the guard looks at me with curiosity. He regards me closely, like the result of some weird experiment.

"You are in love with her, aren't you" he says then, surprisingly softly. I look up at him, and I know that my eyes betray me. He could see the love and the longing in them, even though he wasn't even human.

"It is weird how human attractions develop, isn't it?" he says, now deep in his thoughts. Then he suddenly looks at me again, his gaze cold as steel.

"I can help you get her out. I can even help you...well, date her. But I will need something in return."

1. Somehow I already know what he is going to suggest...
2. "What do you want?" I ask. I don't have a lot.
3. Actually, I have something which might interest him.
