The War Was Over

The Black Void - Episode 783

I headed home on a flight filled with strangers. We stopped at San Intonio for refueling. It was a small island technically part of the US but basically just a big freakin' airport. It was close enough to Jamaica to be staffed by civllians but it catered to US millitary and dozens of more private flights.
It would take an hour to refuel. I was given the choice of waiting in the South Mortex Shopping Annex.

  1. I exit the plane.
  2. I wait on the plane.
  3. I asked the tanned steward why the name rhymed.
  4. I recalled the flight engineer's name was Josh Burbank. Why did that name worry me so much?
  5. My foot had fallen asleep. By the time I could stand on it, my section of the plane was empty. Then I see a ghost.
