Your hope that the keys might conveniently be in the vehicle's ignition
is not realised, and you certainly don't have the necessary expertise to
hot-wire it. So you decide to try to escape on foot. You hope that there
won't be any difficulty in getting out of the grounds, and that you can
get a good distance away before the Count misses you. Dawn won't be for
many hours yet, but you assume that you will have to find some spot well-
sheltered from the sun before then.
You walk down the drive and succeed in getting out of the grounds without any difficulty. There is a road running by outside, though at this late hour there is no traffic. If a car should come by, should you try to flag it down or hide yourself? The average motorist might not react well to being hailed by a nightie-clad vampiress.
