Maggie steps forward after her long silence. "Now listen, boy," she begins
"if you can pull this off until we can find the real queen ourselves, we
are prepared to offer you a reward. Annabelline is a wealthy and powerful
princess, I myself am a powerful witch. Together we can provide you with
wealth, power, and a lifestyle beyond your wildest dreams. We need to get
you in the queen's place as quick as possible. We will tear up your dress
in places and get you a little dirty, to appear as though you've been
captured and escaped. We will then transport you outside the city walls.
There, you will speak to the knights guarding the gates and tell of your
capture by unknown kidnappers. Tell them you were kidnapped in your sleep
and you don't know where you were, just that you awakened in a cave to the
east. Act scared and unnerved, and hopefully no one will question your
different personality and mannerisms. Here we go."
