You decide that your best chance is to go along for now. Once the two of you are alone together, you will try to stick a dagger in the Grand Moff before things have gone too far. Of course, first you will have to get your hands on a dagger. (Zephyr Fang, the sword with which you killed Maggie and the princess, was of course taken away from you when you were captured.) It's a pity that you don't know what Maggie did with the tincture that the princess was supposed to use to kill him. [4831] That would have been a far better method. It occurs to you that, ironically, you are planning to do what the real Annabelline was intending to do, though of course your own motive for killing the Grand Moff is very different from hers.

The Grand Moff says:

  1. "I suppose I had better complete the conquering of this kingdom before taking you to my bed. But don't worry. I don't expect that to take more than a few hours."
  2. "My motto has always been 'pleasure before business'. I assume that the witch's cottage must have a bedroom."

  4. "Aarghh!" as he drops dead in front of you. Annabelline's strange pet [5039] has crept onto the scene and assassinated him before you had the chance!
