Not What You Wanted

The Black Void - Episode 6298

It appears that the aliens observing you interpret your banging on the glass as a request for food. A door in the transparent wall opens. The chimpanzee who brought you here screeches in alarm and retreats, leaving you on your own. One of the aliens comes through the doorway carrying a bowl which he puts down on the ground in front of you. The stuff in the bowl is unfamiliar, but you assume that it must be some sort of foodstuff.

"No, that's not what I wanted," you say. "I want to get out of here. I'm an intelligent being. You shouldn't be keeping me in captivity."

Unfortunately the alien shows no sign of understanding you. He - or quite possibly she or it - merely pats you on the head in what is presumably intended as a friendly gesture, before leaving.

  1. Before the door can close behind him (or her or it) you nip through it, causing consternation amongst the nearby aliens.
  2. The door automatically closes behind him before you can get through. Your attempts to open it are fruitless.
