Back into the Jungle

The Black Void - Episode 6250

What does the chief expect you to do, you wonder. Perhaps it is some sort of initiation rite? Or maybe he expects you to return with dinner for the tribe? Not that it really matters, as you have no intention of going back to an uncertain fate with them. At least you have a spear now, to provide some protection against any hungry predator that you might encounter. True, it's a rather small spear, being sized for use by a pygmy, and you doubt that you would prove very skilled in its use, but even so it makes you feel rather more secure.

As you go deeper into the jungle, you reflect on your strange experiences since you first encountered the black void. How from being male, you had been changed through magic to be the duplicate of the beautiful Princess Annabelline, and how going through the void a second time had landed you in this jungle.

  1. You spot one of the pygmies following you at a discreet distance. Has the chief sent him to tail you, to make sure that you don't try to escape? Or is he doing it on his own initiative?
  2. You start itching in some rather unfortunate places, and realise that your fur bikini is infested with lice or fleas.
  3. You are surrounded by a troupe of chimpanzees, who start sniffing at you, perhaps because of the perfume that the tribeswomen put on you.
